When we learn more about mental health conditions, recognizing signs and symptoms is easier. After knowing those we can ask for help and improve our mental health.

Mental health issues in the workplace can affect an individual’s ability to perform their job duties and can lead to reduced productivity, increased absenteeism, and increased likelihood of workplace accidents. Common mental health issues that can affect employees include anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and substance abuse.
